Dior Saddle Mini crafted in Oblique jacquard canvas, with navy leather details and gold-tone hardware. The Saddle, designed by John Galliano in 1999 and presented in the Spring/Summer 2000 show, is one of Dior’s most iconic pieces: its asymmetrical silhouette is inspired by the shape of a horse saddle, part of a collection with a strong equestrian, “gaucho”, inflected aesthetic that catapulted the bag to fame after its appearance on Sex and the City. Maria Grazia Chiuri revived it in 2018 as a flagship piece of her tenure as creative director, and this Mini version in Oblique jacquard has become one of the most sought-after pieces of this second era of the model.
